I think it is C because if you can only hear the bats thoughts and feelings either you are the bat or you are just watching sortof as the bat but also just as the reader so you know how the bat feels or thinkings because you are in his mind but he ( obviously) doesnt know youre there you just see and know what hes thinking not others.

if that makes any sense.

Which sentence best describes the word pathos? A. It's a sound pattern. B. It's part of a narrative. C. It's a literary device.
Lady bird [3.3K]
I would say C. a literary device because pathos is like a quality that causes people to pity or show empathy towards you. You may use this as a tool as a writer to make the reader feel a certain way about your characters or victims of an event. It can be used to better understand and better convince readers of your opinion.

Which words in the sentence are the appositive phrase? His favorite meal, chicken and dumplings, is bubbling on the stove. A. Hi
natita [175]
B. chicken and dumplings

It's because the 'chicken and dumplings' is renaming the noun 'meal' that is already there. Usually to find an appositive phrase, just look beside the noun and see if the sentence works without the words beside it.
