Directly behind the frontal lobe is the parietal lobe, where sensory information registers in the somatosensory cortex. It responsible of integrating sensory data among different modalities which includes navigation and spacial sense wherein the main receptive are is the  <span>somatosensory cortex</span>. Also, this part of the brain is essential in the processing language. The parietal lobe is divided into two two parts which plays different functions.
