I strongly believe that cellular respiration is a catabolic pathway. Cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondrion of a cell, it involves conversion of biochemical energy in nutrients mainly glucose to energy in the form of ATP coupled by release of water and Carbon dioxide. Catabolic reactions are type of metabolic reactions that involves formation of large molecules from small molecules, the opposite of anabolic reactions.

In general, why might cell-wall inhibiting antimicrobial drugs be less effective on gram-negative bacteria compared to gram-posi
Zanzabum

Mutation rate of Gram negative bacteria is much greater than that of Gram positive bacteria.

Explanation:

The gram positive types of bacteria responsible for causing diseases in humans. It is called as Gram positive bacteria. Both the bacteria are different in structural and physical properties. It is defined as the group of bacteria’s which positive result in gram stain test.

Gram negative bacteria are the group of bacteria’s which gives negative result to the gram stain test. This classification is done according to the cell wall. The cause of common disease by Gram positive bacteria is our anthrax, diphtheria, etc.

Part A - Processes that contribute to genetic variation Meiosis guarantees that in a sexual life cycle, offspring will inherit o
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

independent assortment, crossing over and random fertilization

Explanation:

There are three mechanisms by which sexual reproduction increases genetic variation in progeny. First, random fertilization is the process by which gametes randomly combine in order to increase the possibilities for genetic variation. Second, the independent assortment refers to the process by which pairs of homologous chromosomes independently separate from one another during meiosis. Finally, crossing over, also known as recombination, is the process by which two homologous chromosomes' non-sister chromatids can exchange genetic material during meiosis I (prophase I).
