Non cheddar flavored bags of chips = 40-30 = 10 bags

=> Percentage of those bags of chips = 10/40 * 100% = 25%

In this question ,it is given that a store has 40 bags of potato chips on the shelf. Of those 40 bags, 30 are cheddar flavored.

First we have to find number of bags which are not cheddar flavoured.

And for that , we have to subtract number of chaddered flavored bags from total number of bage, that is

= 40 - 30 =10

And the required percentage is

= \frac{Number \ of \ chaddered \ flavored \ bags }{total \ number \ of bags }*100

= \frac{10}{40}*100 = 25%

Use the standard norml distribution or the t-distribution to construct a 99% confidence interval for the population mean. Justif
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

E) we will use t- distribution because is un-known,n<30

the confidence interval is (0.0338,0.0392)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step:-1</u>

Given sample size is n = 23<30 mortgage institutions

The mean interest rate 'x' = 0.0365

The standard deviation 'S' = 0.0046

the degree of freedom = n-1 = 23-1=22

99% of confidence intervals t_{0.01} =2.82  (from tabulated value).

The mean value = 0.0365

x±t_{0.01} \frac{S}{\sqrt{n-1} }

0.0365±2.82 \frac{0.0046}{\sqrt{23-1} }

0.0365±2.82 \frac{0.0046}{\sqrt{22} }

0.0365±2.82 \frac{0.0046}{4.690 }

using calculator

0.0365±0.00276

Confidence interval is

(0.0365-0.00276,0.0365+0.00276)

(0.0338,0.0392)

the mean value is lies between in this confidence interval

(0.0338,0.0392).

<u>Answer:-</u>

<u>using t- distribution because is unknown,n<30,and the interest rates are not normally distributed.</u>

m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

The number of seashells he have in his collection all together is <u>140</u>.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Stanley has a collection of seashells. He found 35% of his collection on Florida beaches.

Stanley has 49 seashells from Florida.

Now, to find the number of seashells of his collection altogether.

Let the number of seashells all together be x.

Percentage of seashells found on Florida beaches = 35%.

Number of seashells found on Florida beaches = 49.

Now, to get the number of seashells altogether we put an equation:

35\%\ of\ x=49.

⇒ \frac{35}{100} \times x=49

⇒ 0.35\times x=49

⇒ 0.35x=49

Dividing both sides by 0.35 we get:

⇒ x=140.

Therefore, the number of seashells he have in his collection all together is 140.

Nuetrik [128]
1. Y= 5/4x -1.4
2.Y=-2/4x -7
Formula is Y=MX+B
To solve these equations you have to make the Y separate so add or subtract the x value depending on the charge remember what you do to one side you do to the other after you divide everything by the number in the Y value and for the x you put the y value on-top and make it a fraction
