Round-robin schedulers normally maintain a list of all runnable processes, with each process occurring exactly once in the list.

What would happen if a process occurred twice in the list? Can you think of any reason for allowing this?

Answer:

A process will get more quanta per scheduling cycles. This is used to give more important process a larger share of the CPU.

Jordan says she cant access files on the server any more. No other user has reported this problem and she can PING the server fr
kramer

Answer:

Lan cable was disconnected or unplugged from jordan's PC

Explanation:

According to the scenario, no user other than Jordan has reported the problem which means that there was no issue in the network or server.

As IP address ping of 127.0.0.1 was successful means that the configuration of the IP address was also correct and the DHCP server was working correctly.

After all assessment one of the main cause could be the disconnection of the LAN cable from Jordan's computer.

A clock is reading 10:27:54.0 (hr:min:sec) when it is discovered to be 4 seconds fast. Explain why it is undesirable to set it b
lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

(a)Applications Time Stamp Events

(b)S=0.5(W-T_{skew})+T_{skew}, where T_{skew}≤W≤T_{skew}+8.

Explanation:

Some applications assume that clocks always advance, so they could timestamp events under this assumption.

In our case we have the wrong timed clock, say W and the hardware clock H which is supposed to advance at a perfect rate.

We proceed to construct a software clock such that after 8 seconds we can replace the wrong timed clock with the software clock in good conditions.

Let us denote the software clock with S.

Then, S=c(W-T_{skew})+T_{skew} where:

T_{skew}=The current Time(10:27:54) and;

c is to be found.

We already know that S=T_{skew}+4 when W= T_{skew}+8,

So:

S=c(W-T_{skew})+T_{skew}

T_{skew}+4=c(T_{skew}+8-T_{skew})+T_{skew}

4=8c

c=0.5

We obtain the formula

S=0.5(W-T_{skew})+T_{skew}, where T_{skew}≤W≤T_{skew}+8.

So I bought a mechanical keyboard with cherry mx red switches. you're called "linear and silent" they are linear but they aren't
Gnom [1K]

Answer:

If the keys were silent in the review, it could have been one of two things. The first thing being, the microphone just wasn't picking up the audio as good and the second being, you could have just got scammed. Would you mind telling me the model of your keyboard so I can do some research. Cherry mx switches are loud because they bottom out on the keyboard. The actual switch itself is very quite. All linear means is that they keystroke is consistent and smooth rather than a Tactile switch which has a bum in the middle of its' stroke. In advertisement, they will lightly press they switch and that catches your attention when in reality whatever you are doing gaming or typing you will be slamming your keys down with a considerable amount of force. If you want a quiter keyboard I would pick a low profile keyboard which means that they keystroke is not as long as a mechanical keyboard which also means that the noise from the key hitting the keyboard will be a lot less loud.

Explanation:

Hopefully that kinda answers your questions.

allsm [11]

Answer: ....

false

Explanation:

Adaptive Software Development (ASD) is a direct outgrowth of an earlier agile framework, Rapid Application Development (RAD). It aims to enable teams to quickly and effectively adapt to changing requirements or market needs by evolving their products with lightweight planning and continuous learning.

The Adaptive Software Development (ASD) life cycle model assumes that software development follows an adaptive approach because the requirements cannot be clearly expressed early in the life cycle. it refers to a problem-solving approach that requires defining the scope of a system, dividing it into its components, and then identifying and evaluating its problems, opportunities, constraints, and needs.
