Hey,
To find the circumference of the tire multiply pi times radius time 2. Radius is equal to half of diameter. r = 1.25

C = 2 • π • r
C = 2  • 3.14 • 1.25
C = 6.28 • 1.25
C = 7.85 ft

To find how many times the tire will rotate divide the number of feet in a mile (5,280).
5,280 ÷ 7.85 = 672.611464968

a. Circumference = 7.85
b. The tire will rotate approximately 673 times in one mile.

Hope this Helped!
Cheers,
Izzy

2.5\pi = 7.85

b) i think that you should divide the distance by the circumference :
5280 \div 7.85 = 672.6115

hope this helps
