HELP
Brut [27]

Answer:

1) m<1 = 25

2) m<4 = 155

3) m< 5 = 25

4) m<7 = 25

5) 110

6) 30.5

7) 74

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

x + 155 = 180

x = 25

2)

<4 = 155 because of vertical angle thm

3)

<5 = 25 (congruent to <1) b/c of corresponding angles thm

4)

<7 = <5 (25) because of vertical angles thm

5)

5x + 15 = 8x - 42

-3x = -57

x = 19

5(x) + 15

5(19) + 15 = 110

6)

180 - 110 = 70

3x + x + 4 + 70 = 180

4x + 74 = 180

4x = 106

x = 26.5

x+ 4 = 30.5

7)

180 - 115 = 65

x + 4 + 2x + 65 = 180

3x + 69 = 180

3x = 111

x = 37

2x = 74

Simplify 24x5 y6 . A) 2x2 y3 6x B) 4x2 y3 6x C) 6x2 y3 4x D) 6x2 y3 2x
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer : A 2x^2y^3\sqrt{6x}

\sqrt{ 24x^5y^6}

Take square root for each term and simplify it

\sqrt{24} *\sqrt{x^5}  *\sqrt{y^6}

\sqrt{24}=\sqrt{4 * 6}  = 2\sqrt{6}

\sqrt{x^5} = x^2\sqrt{x}

\sqrt{y^6} = y^3

so we will get

2\sqrt{6} *  x^2\sqrt{x} * y^3

2x^2y^3\sqrt{6x}

A submarine started at sea level and was 400 meters below sea level in 10 minutes.
ladessa [460]
Because it is BELOW sea level after 10 minutes, it straight away cannot be A) or B), because ascended means going up, so it has to be either C) or D).

I believe the answer is C), as the answer for D) would be -40 meters per minute, but it's still 40. I'm not sure though, so it's either C) or D).

The Natchez Trace Bridge in Franklin, Tennessee, is 1,500 feet long. Suppose you build a model of the bridge using a scale of 1
noname [10]
Set this up as a ratio putting inches on top and feet on bottom. Then your first ratio would be 1/25 since 1 inch is the same as 25 feet.  In between them goes an equals sign and the the other ratio has an x on top (because inches is what we are looking for) and the 1500 on the bottom. Cross multiply to solve for x:
1(1500) = x(25).  Divide both sides by 25 to get 60

What is the average rate of change of f(x), represented by the table of values, over the interval [-3,4]
77julia77 [94]

Answer:

Average rate of change = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

  • We know that the average rate of change is basically a measure of the slope of the  secant line  in the closed interval [a, b].

here   a = -3 and b = 4

  • f(b) = f(4) = 27
  • f(a) = f(-3) = 6

⇒ Average rate of change = f(b) - f(a)  / b - a

                                            = (27 - 6) / (4 - (-3))

                                            = 21 / 7

                                            = 3

Therefore, Average rate of change = 3
