Help With Number 9 Please!!!

Mathematics
1 answer:
marysya [2.9K]4 years ago
3 0

No, this statement would only be true if we found the product of numbers like: 9999 and 5, this would obviously make a 5-digit number. However, with numbers like 4449 and 1, we get a 4-digit number, thus leading us with the idea of it not being a correct and valid statement.

Hope this helps.

What are the possible values of x for the following functions?
stiks02 [169]
What can a denominator never be?

0

so, we need to figure what x can't be... the only way to multiply 2 things together to get 0 is if one or both are zero.

so, what x values make our denominator 0?

to figure this out, we need to set (x-1)(x-2)=0

now we split and solve.

x - 1 = 0 \\ x - 2 = 0
so when x is 1 or 2 the function doesnt make sense.

but, x can be every other number and it does, so the answer is
