Sin (Angle) = Opposite / Hypotenuse

Sin (X) = 8/17

X = Arcsin(8/17)

X = 28.07 degrees.

Answer:

The answer is x=28.07.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to determine the measure of angle "x", we have to know two concepts:

  1. <em>Notation numbers.</em>
  2. <em>Trigonometric function</em>.

In any number, the position of every digit that compounds the number has a notation. If you want to round the number to the nearest hundredth, independently of the decimal digits, you have to cut the number at the second decimal, two numbers to the right of the decimal point.

In a right triangle, there are some trigonometric functions that relates the angles and side of the triangle. Each side has a notation, depending of the angle that we use.

I have attached two images that show the notation numbers and some trigonometric functions.

According to the image, we have to use the sine trigonometric function.

sin(x)=\frac{8}{17} \\x=arc sin (\frac{8}{17}) \\x=28.0725

Now, we have to round to the nearest hundredth. It means that the number will have two decimal digits. The third decimal digit is "2", so the second decimal number "7" doesn't change.

Finally the measure of angle "x" is 28.07.

Renaldo will write 3/20 as a decimal. Which of the following methods should he use?
makvit [3.9K]

ANSWER

1. Multiply the fraction by 5/5 to get a denominator of 100 and then write the numerator as hundredths using a decimal point.

EXPLANATION

Renaldo wants to write

\frac{3}{20}

as a decimal.

He needs a denominator of 100, so he can multiply by

\frac{5}{5}

to obtain:

\frac{3}{20}  =  \frac{3 \times 5}{20 \times 5}

This will be

=  \frac{15}{100}

He can now obtain the decimal equivalent as

= 0.15

The correct choice is option 1.

Which equation shows y=3/4x−52 in standard form? 4x−3y=10 4x−3y=−10 3x−4y=10 3x−4y=−10
snow_tiger [21]

Y = 3/4x - 5/2....subtract 3/4x from both sides
-3/4x + y = -5/2 ....multiply everything by common denominator of 4
-3x + 4y = -10
