I believe the family budget to make a one- way trip will be $140 because each gallon is $3.50. You need 20 gallons to get there which is $70. You need 20 gallons to get back which is another $70. You add both and is $140. Hope this helped.

Vinvika [58]
How many 'light years distance' can fit in the distance from earth to the star

So we have to divide:

4.1 x 10^13 / 9.46 x 10^12 = 4.33

Find the volume of the figure. Round your answer to the nearest tenth if necessary. Use 3.14 for .
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

\boxed{\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} \approx \: 307.7 \: m {}^{3} } ( \rm \: nearest \: tenth )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • radius = 7 metres
  • height = 2 metres
  • π = 3.14

To Find:

  • Volume of the cylinder

Solution:

Use the formulae of the volume of cylinder:

\boxed{\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = \pi{r} {}^{2} h}

where,

  • π = 3.14
  • r = radius
  • h = height

According to the question:

  • radius = 7 metres
  • height = 2 metres

Substitute the values onto the formulae in order to find out the volume:

\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = \pi(7) {}^{2} (2)

\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = \pi(49)(2)

\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = 98\pi

\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = \: 98 \times 3.14

\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} = 307.72 \: m {}^{3} \: (exact \: form)

\boxed{\rm \: Volume_{(Cylinder)} \approx \: 307.7 \: m {}^{3} } \: ( \rm nearest \: tenth )

<u>Hence,we can conclude that:</u>

The volume of the cylinder is approximately

307.7m³.

The diagram represents 6x^2 - 7x + 2 with a factor of 2x - 1. What is the other factor of 6x^2 - 7x + 2?
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

<h2>A. 3x - 2</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

\dfrac{6x^2}{2x}=3x,\ \dfrac{-3x}{-1}=3x\\\\\dfrac{-4x}{2x}=-2,\ \dfrac{2}{-1}=-2\\\\\underline{.\qquad|\ \ 2x\ |\ -1\ |}\\\underline{.\ 3x\ \ |\ 6x^2\ |-3x|}\\.\ -2|-4x|\ \ 2\ \ |

\text{Check:}\\\\(2x-1)(3x-2)=(2x)(3x)+(2x)(-2)+(-1)(3x)+(-1)(-2)\\\\=6x^2-4x-3x+2=6x^2-7x+2\qquad\text{CORRECT}
