Well for starters, a function is any graph that can pass the vertical line test. this means, if you were to graph y=mx+b, you would be able to pass a line through the graph without two lines being visible by the right side of the pencil at once. It also means that for every 1 x, there is only 1 y. Y=mx+b shows that a function must be SINGLE VALUED.

Whats 5x2+500=844.45
Triss [41]
5x2 + 500 = 844.45, solving for x.

Subtract 500 from both sides: 5x2 = 344.45

Simplify (5*2): 10x = 344.45

Divide 10 from both sides: x = 34.45 (rounded)

Given: m∠AEB = 45° ∠AEC is a right angle. Prove: bisects ∠AEC. Proof: We are given that m∠AEB = 45° and ∠AEC is a right angle. T
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

The proof is explained below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ∠AEB=45° and also ∠AEC is right angle i.e ∠AEC=90°

we have to prove that EB is the angle bisector.

In the right angled triangle AEC,

∠AEC=90° and also ∠AEB=45°

∵ ∠AEB+∠BEC=∠AEC

⇒ 45° + ∠BEC = 90°

By subtraction property of equality

∠BEC = 45°

Hence,  ∠AEB = ∠BEC = 45°

The angle ∠AEB equally divides by the line segment EB therefore, the line segment EB is the angle bisector of angle ∠AEB.

Evaluate C7, 5).<br><br> A. 21<br><br> B. 42<br><br> C. 1,008
faltersainse [42]
<h3>Answer: A.  21</h3>

=======================================

C(n, r) = (n!)/(r!*(n-r)!) is the combination formula

C(7, 5) = (7!)/(5!*(7-5)!)

C(7, 5) = (7!)/(5!*2!)

C(7, 5) = (7*6*5!)/(5!*2!)

C(7, 5) = (7*6)/(2!) ..... note the "5!" terms divided and canceled

C(7, 5) = (7*6)/(2*1)

C(7, 5) = 42/2

C(7, 5) = 21

Problem 3
Alex

Answer: Problem 3: 20 laps per day,

Inequality: x >=20 per day

Problem 4: minimum of 8 employees

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the goal is 600 laps in a month

And a month contains 30days, to achieve 600 laps, we divide 600 laps by 30 days

= 600/30= 20

Reem needs to swim a minimum of 20 laps per day to achieve her goal.

Inequality: x should be greater than or equal to 20 laps daily.

x >= 20

Problem 4:

Given that each employee can paint 85square feet per hour

The building has 1360 square feet and to be completed in two hours

Number of employees to complete the job in one hourwill be 1360/85 = 16

If 16 employees will complete 1360 per hour, then 8 employees will complete the work in 2 hours.
