20 because the 75 prenctile will always be on the right side where the 20 is

and the 17 would be the 25 prencitile and where the 15 is the minimum and the 21 is the maximum the median is 18

 but your answer will 20 i just put the rest to help in the future

Alright, so the dot on the left is the start, the start of the box is the 25th percentile, the line inside of it is the median, the end of the box is the 75th percentile, and the dot on the right is the 100th percentile. The 75th percentile, or the end of the box, is 20

Answer:

  5x^2 +10x

Step-by-step explanation:

The area is the product of the height and width. For this exercise, it is convenient to compute the rectangle areas individually, then write their sum:

  blue rectangle area = (5x)(x) = 5x^2

  red rectangle area = (5x)(2) = 10x

Total area = 5x^2 +10x.

_____

If you start by writing an expression for the total area, expanding it requires you deal with the unlike terms separately anyway:

  5x(x +2) = 5x(x) +5x(2) = 5x^2 +10x

If the measure of angle 2 is 3x, and the measure of 1 is 5x - 12 what is the measure of angle 9 ?
Mariana [72]
3x+5x-12=180
8x=180+12
8x=192
x=192/8
x=24

angle 1 = 5x-12
=5(24)-12
=120-12
=108

angle 2= 3x =3*24=72

angle 1 = angle 9
angle 9= 108

The quantity q varies inversely with the square of m and directly with the product of r and x. When q is 2.5, mis 4 and the
saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

The constant of proportionality is 5.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the quantity q varies inversely with the square of m and directly with the product of r and x, then the variation equation is

q=k\frac{rx}{m^2}

When q=2.5, m= 4 and the

product of rx = 8.

We plug in this values to get;

2.5=k(\frac{8}{4^2})

2.5=k(\frac{8}{16})

2.5=\frac{1}{2}k

Multiply both sides by 2

k=2.5\times 2=5

The constant of proportionality is 5.

By Pythagoras  AB^2 = 12^2 - 6^2 =  108

AB = sqrt 108 = 10.39 to nearest hundredth

The perpendicular from M to DC will be parallel and equal to AB so  it = 10.39.

Also  AB^2 = CB * DB

108  =  6 * DB
DB = 108/6  = 18
so DC = 18-6 = 12

MD^2 = (1/2*12)^2 + 108  =   144

so MD = 12
