Answer is 16 hours.

4/5=16/20
So 16 x 1 =16 hours.

Hope this helps.

It would be 16 hours, because if you change the 4/5 to 16/20 (for the common denominator) It just plugs into eachother

AURORKA [14]

Answer:

20.25 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

If your car travels 27 miles on a full tank of gas, then your car will travel 27\cdot\frac{3}{4} miles on \frac{3}{4} tank of gas.

27 \cdot 0.75 = 20.25

Can i have help please
IgorLugansk [536]
(y + 1)^3 would just be dividing the two

If you want it completely simplified, then it’s the following:

(y + 1)(y + 1)(y + 1)

= y^2 + y + y + 1 (y + 1)

= y^2 + 2y + 1 (y + 1)

= y^3 + y^2 + 2y^2 + 2y + y + 1

= y^3 + 3y^2 + 3y + 1

A square has side length of 9 in. If the area is doubled, what happens to the side length?
Alika [10]

Answer:

The side length is multiplied by \sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of the original square is equal to

A=9^{2}=81\ in^{2}

If the area is doubled

then

The area of the larger square is

A1=(2)81=162\ in^{2}

Remember that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its areas is equal to the scale factor squared

Let

z ----> the scale factor

x ----> the area of the larger square

y ---> the area of the original square

so

z^{2}=\frac{x}{y}

we have

x=162\ in\^{2}

y=81\ in\^{2}

z^{2}=\frac{162}{81}

z^{2}=2

z=\sqrt{2} ------> scale factor

therefore

The side length is multiplied by \sqrt{2}
