Answer:  Infinite solutions

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

y = -5x - 2  is in      y = mx + b    format.

  • First ,plot b = -2 (2 units down from the origin)
  • Then, plot a point created by the slope m = -5 (down 5 and right 1)
  • Next, draw a line through both points

The two points plotted <em>above</em> should be: (0, -2) and (1, -7)

y + 2 = -5x    is not in y = mx + b format so subtract 2 from both sides.

y + 2 = -5x

<u>   - 2  </u>   <u>     - 2</u>

y       = -5x - 2     <em>now it is in y = mx + b format</em>

Notice that this is the same equation above that you already graphed because they are the same line.

The "solution" is where the lines intersect.  Since these are the same line, there are infinite solutions.

Graph g is a translation of the graph of y= sin x (dashed line).a) write down the equation of g b) write down the coordinates of
labwork [276]

Answer:

<em>a)  </em>G(x)= \sin x + 2<em />

<em>b) The coordinates of P are</em>

<em />\displaystyle \left( \frac{3\pi}{2},1\right)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Translation</u>

The dashed line shows the graph of the function

y = \sin x

This function has a maximum value of 1, a minimum value of -1, and a center value of 0.

a)

Graph G shows the same function but translated by 2 units up, thus the equation of G is:

\boxed{G(x)= \sin x + 2}

b) The coordinates of P correspond to the value of

x = \frac{3\pi}{2}

The value of G is

\displaystyle G(\frac{3\pi}{2})= \sin \frac{3\pi}{2} + 2

Since

\sin \frac{3\pi}{2}=-1

\displaystyle G(\frac{3\pi}{2})= -1+ 2=1

The coordinates of P are

\displaystyle \left( \frac{3\pi}{2},1\right)

Which of the list of letters all have line symmetry?
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

Option A

A B C D

Step-by-step explanation:

Line of symmetry means that line which cut anything into two two halves.

It could horizontal, vertical and diagonal.

A - vertical line of symmetry

B - horizontal line of symmetry

C - horizontal line of symmetry

D - horizontal line of symmetry

And it is an example of Spherical symmetry:

If the organism is cut through its centre, the resulting parts look the same.
