Answer: Unlike poles placed together

Explanation:

A magnet is any substance in which domains are aligned in a single direction. The magnetic field lines are imaginary lines surrounding a magnet where magnetic force is exerted. These lines form closed loops and are unique as they do not cross each other. These lines emerge from North pole and enter magnet at south pole.

We know that likes poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other. In the given diagram, two magnets are kept near each other. The field lines seem to connect that is entering from pole and terminating at another. This is possible only when there is force of attraction between the two. This means these are to two different poles-one north and another south.

Explanation : According to figure

We have a two magnet having two opposite poles, which attract each other.

Because we know that unlike pole of the magnets attract to each other and like poles repel each other and creates a magnetic field around the magnets.

So, we can say that this situation shown the attraction of the magnets. Which have a north pole and south pole.

A rolling ball has 8 joules of kinetic energy and is rolling 4m/s. Find it’s mass
Maru [420]

Answer:

m = 1

Explanation:

K.E = 8J

v = 4m/s

m = ?

Now,

K.E = 1÷2mv^2

8 = 1÷2 × m × (4)^2

8 = 1÷2 × m × 16

8 = m × 8

m × 8 = 8

m = 8 ÷ 8 = 1

m = 1

VERIFICATION:

K.E. = 1÷2mv^2

K.E = 1÷2 × 1 × 4^2

K.E. = 8J

Our Sun is one of many stars in the Milky Way galaxy. Earth is closer to the Sun than any other star. This is evident because " we rely on the Sun's radiant energy on Earth".

Option: B

Explanation:

The Sun produces much radiant energy which is distributed as light to the Earth. Plants supports only process called photosynthesis for their food production, transform the electromagnetic energy in sunlight into chemical energy for their food. Radiant electromagnetic waves can be either visible or invisible.

Maximum solar radiation is absorbed by the atmosphere, but much of what hits the surface of the earth is emitted back into the atmosphere for heat energy to result. Dark colored items like asphalt consume radiant energy more easily than objects colored with light.
