Answer:

The concept of gene flow is demonstrated when a cow is driven off from its herd, joins another herd, and reproduces. When it contributes Sachem pollution of new herd, the genetic variation is very likely to increase.

Hence the correct answer to the question is option D.

Explanation:

The term genetic variations define the different types of animal living in a same area in a given period of time. These different types of genetic variation are given in the form of physical variations.

Some of the examples of different genetic variations are short body, tall body, eye color etc.

2019-20 Biology CR
Why is it important to classify the millions of species on Earth?
BigorU [14]

Answer:

It is important to classify the millions of species on Earth because it makes study of organisms easier. Classification occurs on the basis of similarities and differences that is present among the organisms. Organisms are placed in one group if they are similar in characteristics. For example, those organisms which are placed in animals have the ability to move from place to place and unable to make their own food.

Give three instantaneous scale (time) examples of Earth's systems, two long-term scale (time) examples of Earth's sytems, and th
Goshia [24]

The Earth comprises many spheres of subsystems, which associate with each other to develop a composite and spontaneously changing system of the Earth. The processes taking place in the system of the Earth occurs on spatial scales changing from fractions of millimeters to thousands of kilometers, and on time scales, which varies from milliseconds to billions of years.

The examples of instantaneous scales are a rotation of the Earth, breathing, an earthquake.

The examples of long-term scales are making coal and plate tectonics.

The system of the Earth is featured by various overlapping cycles in which matter is recycled again and again. The cycles involve interactions between multiple spheres and systems. The examples of cycles are rock cycle, day and night, and seasons.

Volcanoes discharge a huge concentration of particulate matter into the atmosphere. These particles function as nuclei for the development of droplets of water (hydrosphere). The rainfall, that is, hydrosphere usually upsurges after an eruption, initiating growth of the plant (biosphere). Thus, volcanoes and volcanic activities are a good illustration of system interactions.

Which physiological changes would the nurse anticipate after an amniotomy is performed?
Zina [86]
 • Progressive dilating and obliteration are the physiological changes the nurse would anticipate after an amniotomy is performed.
 • The fetal head can press more forcefully against the cervix thanks to the artificial rupture of the membranes (amniotomy), which improves dilation and effacement.
 • As labor progresses, vaginal bleeding may become more severe. The fetal heart rate is not immediately impacted by amniotomy.
 • Because contractions typically intensify and become more frequent when the membranes are artificially ruptured, discomfort may worsen.

What is Amniotomy?

 • Artificial rupture of membranes (AROM), often known as amniotomy or simply "breaking the water," is the deliberate rupture of the amniotic sac by an obstetrician.
 • This treatment is frequently carried out during labor management and has a variety of indications.

After a dye diffuses uniformly throughout a glass of water, the dye molecules are no longer moving. True or false?
Anton [14]
The answer is false, liquid molecules continue to move even after the concentration is uniform.

Diffusion happens because there’s a concentration gradient between the dye and the water, therefore dye molecules moves to the water area. But note that this is only the net movement of the molecules, which means, even if more molecules are moving towards water, there are still some dye molecules that are moving in the opposite direction.

So, after the concentration is equal, the motion of the dye molecules does not stop, they still move in random directions, but there’s no net movement instead, as there’s no concentration gradient. Remember molecules are always moving in all directions , it just depends on whether there’s a net movement or not. If there’s no net movement, the amount of molecules moving to each and every direction is always equal.
