Assuming this is referring to the Roman Empire, I would say that to pay for its new functions, it would have to increase taxes or tribute to pay for such things as an expanded military and the infrastructure involved in a vast empire (it contained 21% of the whole world's population at its peak).

The answer to this question is <span>increased taxes on farmers who lived outside of Italy
Larger government will always result in larger government spending (which will led into a higher amount of tax that must be paid). Since roman do not want its people to turn on them due to the increase in tax, Roman government decided to take it from the people outside their empire.

The major difference between nominal GDP and real GDP is: nominal GDP measures the value of output with constant output levels,
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

The correct answer is "nominal GDP measures the value of output in current-year prices, while real GDP measures output using constant prices."

Explanation:

The real GDP growth is the value of all goods produced in a given year; nominal GDP is the value of all the goods taking price changes into account.

The nominal GDP is the value of all the final goods and services that an economy produced during a given year. It is calculated by using the prices that are current in the year in which the output is produced. The nominal GDP takes into account all of the changes that occurred for all goods and services produced during a given year. For example, a nominal value can change due to shifts in quantity and price.

The real GDP is the total value of all of the final goods and services that an economy produces during a given year, accounting for inflation. It is calculated using the prices of a selected base year.

The correct answer is "nominal GDP measures the value of output in current-year prices, while real GDP measures output using constant prices."

In its statement of cash flows issued for the year ending September 30, Berne Company reported a net cash inflow from operating
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

B. $29,000

Explanation:

The cashflow from operating activities is calculated as below:

Cashflow from operating activities = Net income + Depreciation - Working capital investment

= Net income + Depreciation - (Change in inventories + Change in account receivables - Change in account payables)

Putting all the number together, we have:

123,000 = Net income + 38,000 - [(-27,000) + 31,000 - 48,000 - 12,000),

Solve the equation we get Net income = 29,000.
