area of ellipse - pi x axis x axis = 3.14 x 8 x 3 = 75.36 square cm

I used 3.14 for pi , you didn't state to use anything else so square cm may change slightly deposing on value for pi

now multiply that by height

75.36 x 8 = 602.88 = 602.9 cubic cm
