Hello There!

2:3
Divide 15 by 3:
15/3 = 5
5 x 2 = 10.
10kg of fruit would be used.

Hope This Helps You!
Good Luck :)

All tubes of watercolor paint at an art supply store have the the same price. An artist has a coupon for $0.50 off each tube of
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Let us assume the regular price of each tube of paint = r.

0.50 off each tube.

New price of each tube = r - 0.50.

She buy 6 tubes.

Total price of 6 tubes = 6×(r-0.50).

We are given total price = $84.30 .

Therefore, we can setup an equation

6×(r-0.50) = 84.30.

Distributing 6 over (r-0.50), we get

6r - 3.0 = 84.30

Adding 3.0 on both sides, we get

6r - 3.0+3.0 = 84.30+3.0

6r = 87.30

Dividing both sides by 6, we get

6r/6 = 87.30/6

r = 14.55

<h3>Therefore, required equation is 6(r-0.50) = 84.30 and the regular price of each tube of paint is $14.55.</h3>

Answer:

good news, the second one is relatively easy because it can be factored to (2x+1)(2x-3) which means that number two has solutions of -1/2 and 3/2

but for number one you have to either use the quadratic equation cause I've tried using synthetic division or just use the second equation to derive the first solutions so I tried move the graph up by two units and found that the intercepts are approximately (1+-√2)/2 or 1/2+-1/√2 for 4x^2-4x-1

ONLY answer if you know what the answer is. If you are not sure DONT FREAKING ANSWER.
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

5 = |-5|

Step-by-step explanation:

Think of it as a number line, like in the picture below. The absolute value is how far a number is from zero (0). If 5 is 5 away from zero, then the opposite of 5 (-5) is also 5 away from zero.

Refer to the picture below for an illustration:

IgorC [24]

Answer:

3/16

Step-by-step explanation:

Monica has a 24-inch square frame.

There are 4 equal sides.

Hence, length of each side=24/4 inch

                                           = 6 inch

She paints 3/4 of one side of the frame blue.

i.e. she paints   \dfrac{3}{4}\times 6 inch

Total part to be painted=24 inch

Hence, fraction of the frame Monica painted blue is:

\dfrac{3\times 6}{4\times 24}\\ \\= \dfrac{3}{16}
