The correct answer is highways

Highways became revolutionary a hundred years later, in the twenties of the 20th century. This is when the German autobahn was being built, for example, and also in the US it started with acts made in the twenties as well. Highways did not exist in the late 1800s but rather in the second decade of the twentieth century.

"Highways" were not likely to be a part of the transportation revolution in cities and suburbs in the late 1800's since cars did not exist in any modern form to the extend where they would need an extensive network of roads.

How did the iran hostage crisis affect american opinion of president carter?
madreJ [45]

The Iran hostage crisis affected negatively the American opinion of President Carter to the point that it probably cost him his second term as President of the United States. On November 4th, 1979, a group of Iranian students stormed the U.S Embassy in Teheran taking more than 60 Americans hostages. This action was a direct result of President Carter's decision of allowing the deposed Shah the possibility of getting medical treatment in the United States.

The students set their hostages free on April of 1981, 444 days after the crisis began and just hours before new elected President Reagan delivered his inaugural address.
