A possessive pronoun can be used as a direct object and as an indirect object. It can never be used as an object of preposition. Take the following sentence for example: She gifted her daughter a car. Her is a possessive pronoun, and her daughter is the indirect object of the verb gifted. Another example: He ate his breakfast quickly. He is the possessive pronoun, and his breakfast is the direct object of the verb ate.

No matter where people grow up, they have similar childhood experiences.
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

i strongly agree with this statement. Everyone has different childhood experiences no matter where they grow up. Two children could be neighbors and have VERY different childhood experiences. It does not matter where you live, how old you are, the color of your skin, the color of your eyes, etc. we all grow up differently. Everyone grows up with different childhood experiences.

hope this helps! :)

An English friend of yours called James gave a party yesterday, which you enjoyed. Write a card to send to James. In your card,
Molodets [167]

Dear James.

First of all I would like to inform you that I had a lot of fun yesterday at your party and thank you immensely for having invited me. I haven't felt this excited in days, but that changed completely during the party, which was perfect and extremely fun. The choice of songs you made couldn't have been better and it managed to keep me dancing all night long. I also need praise for the foods that were being served. I can't imagine which one I liked the most. In addition, all the guests were very friendly and kind, I felt very welcomed.

I would like to take the opportunity and invite you to lunch tomorrow if you are not busy. That way we can talk more about the party and plan a next one, this time, on my own. What do you think?

I await your reply.

With love,

Maria.
