If the function is
A(n) = 4n -25

and we wish to get the inverse function N(a)

We let
A(n) = a
n = N(a)

Plugging in the values
a = 4 N(a) - 25

Arranging the equation:
4 N(a) = a + 25
N(a) = (a + 25) /4

The answer is
N(a) = (a + 25) /4
