in town 1 at 3.5 inches an hour it would snow 9 hours and reach 31.5 inches of snow. Town 2 at 2.25 inches per hour would snow 14 hours to reach 31.5 inches of snow.

3.5 in x 9 hr = 31.5

2.25 in x 14 hr = 31.5
