irritability

metabolism

adaptability

Explanation:

Characteristics of life typifies all living organisms and they make them capable of life functions.

All living organisms must be capable of reproducing their young ones alive. Most living organisms undergo either of sexual reproduction or asexual reproduction.

All living organism must grow. This is why they are nourished.

Living organisms must be able to respond to external stimuli and be irritable.

Metabolism provides energy and all living organisms must be able to produce their own energy.

Living organism must  be able to adapt to their environment.

Answer:

reproduction

growth

irritability

response

adaptability

metabolism

Explanation:

The obvious difference between a living organism and a non-living organism is LIFE. The possession or not of life determines the kind of characteristics that organism possess. Living things due to the presence of life in them can perform certain processes in their cells. They include:

Reproduction: This is the ability of an organism to multipy itself or produce younger ones. Only living organisms can perform this function

Growth: Growth is the irreversible increase in weight, height and size of an organism, which is also peculiar to living organisms.

Irritability: Living organisms have the ability to respond to certain stimuli e.g heat, sun light etc. This is evident in change of direction of such organism.

Metabolism: Metabolism is the series of building and breaking down of molecules that occur in a cell. Only living cells undergo metabolic reactions, like respiration, in order to produce energy needed for life functioning.

Adaptability: This is the ability of an organism to become adjusted to a new environment by undergoing certain changes in its body that makes it survive. This feature is a characteristics of living organisms only.

An air mass forms over the North Pole region describe what you think the temperature and humidity of this air mass will be like?
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer: hope this helps :)

The motion of air mass motion is usually based upon the air flow in the upper atmosphere. As the jet stream changes intensity and position, it affects the motion and strength of air masses. Where air masses converge, they form boundaries called "fronts".

3-D view of a cold front.

Fronts are identified by change of temperature based upon their motion. With a cold front, a colder air mass is replacing a warmer air mass. A warm front is the opposite affect in that warm air replaces cold air. There is also a stationary front, which, as the name implies, means the boundary between two air masses does not move.

The motion of air masses also affects where a good portion of precipitation occurs. The air of cold air masses is more dense than warmer air masses. Therefore, as these cold air masses move, the dense air undercuts the warmer air masses forcing the warm air up and over the colder air causing it to rise into the atmosphere.

So, fronts just don't appear at the surface of the earth, they have a vertical structure or slope to them as well. Warm fronts typically have a gentle slope so the air rising along

What is the probability of a homozygous recessive individual (ss) producing a gamete with a dominant allel (S)?
rewona [7]
It is 0%. They only have the recessive alleles (ss) so there is no possibility it can ever produce a gamete with a dominant allele (S). For example, if it was Ss it would be 50%, and for SS it would be 100%.
