Answer: It is often a small part of a sill.

Batholith is a large body of intrusive igneous rock. It is formed due to subduction of large rocks near the mantle of earth which creates space for the release of magma. This magma remains beneath the earth crust gets  cooled and solidified and produce igneous rocks beneath the earth crust.  The batholith is exposed and uplifted to the outer surface of earth crust by erosion of upper layers. It may form the core of a mountain range if the batholith is formed beneath the mountain body.

van object moving with uniform acceleration has a velocity of 10.0 cm/s in the positive x-direction when its x-coordinate is 3.0
creativ13 [48]

Initial velocity of object vi=10.0 cm/s

initial position fo vector of the object is xi=3.09 cm

Final position of vector xf=-5.00cm

then displacement of object s = xf-xi=-5.00-3.09=-8.09cm

time t=2.55 s

s=vit+1/2at2

-5.00 = 11*2.55+1/2*a2.552

a = (-5.00 - 10*2.55*2)/2.552 = 2.94 cm

Acceleration is 2.94 cm.

<h3>What is acceleration?</h3>

Speed increase is the name we provide for any cycle where the speed changes. Since speed is a speed and a bearing, there are simply two different ways for you to speed up: change your speed or shift your course or change both. In mechanics, speed increase is the pace of progress of the speed of an item concerning time. Speed increases are vector amounts. The direction of an item's speed increase is given by the direction of the net power following up on that article. An item's typical speed increase throughout some stretch of time is its adjustment of speed separated by the term of the period. Numerically, quick speed increase, in the meantime, is the constraint of the typical speed increase over a little time period. In the terms of analytics, immediate speed increase is the subordinate of the speed vector concerning time.

At what frequency will a 3.0 μF capacitor have a reactance of 7.0 kΩ?
blagie [28]

Answer:

Frequency, f = 7.57 Hz

Explanation:

It is given that,

Capacitance, C=3\ \mu F=3\times 10^{-6}\ F

Capacitive reactance, X_C=7\ k\Omega=7\times 10^3\ \Omega

We need to find the frequency. The capacitive reactance of the capacitor is given by :

X_C=\dfrac{1}{2\pi fC}

f is the frequency

f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi CX_C}

f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi \times 3\times 10^{-6}\ F\times 7\times 10^3\ \Omega}

f = 7.57 Hz

Hence, this is the required solution.

Which type of electromagnetic wave is used for warming, photosynthesis in plants, and making vitamin D in humans? UV wave Radio
lakkis [162]

Answer: UV wave

Explanation:

Ultraviolet light (UV light), whose wavelength is approximately between 100 nm and 380 nm; is a type of electromagnetic radiation that is not visible to the human eye.

This type of radiation is an important factor in the photosynthesis process, in which the Ultraviolet light is transformed into stable chemical energy, converting inorganic matter into organic matter.  This process is carried out by living beings that are mostly made up of <u>chlorophyll</u> (a green pigment), such as plants and algae.

In addition, UV light is important in making vitamin D in humans, becausa this vitamin is synthesized by the skin from cholesterol, through a chemical reaction that needs short-wave ultraviolet rays (also called UVB).

A race car weighs 6958 N. What is its mass?
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

710kg

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Weight of race car = 6958N

Unknown:

Mass of the race car  = ?

Solution:

The weight of a body is the force of gravity acting on that body. It is mathematically expressed as:

  Weight  = mass x acceleration due to gravity

Acceleration due to gravity  = 9.8m/s²

  6958 = mass x 9.8

        mass  = 710kg
