False.

The books of the minor prophets form an important part of Jewish religious literature. The Bible is not a single book but contains a collection of individual books written over centuries by atleast 40 authors. The prophets are called minor because the revelations made to them are not enough for dedicating an entire text to them. Nevertheless, their religious importance remains unchanged.

Further Explanation:

Prophets are messengers of God, who are chosen as a mode of communication for communicating His message to His people, in specific cultures, in specific situations. Jewish literature mentions the presence of a number of Prophets, and in Christianity, it is concerned with the Old Testament. The book of minor prophets constitutes a set of eleven books that deal with specific guidelines to the people of Israel on how to live their lives as the true children of God. The Book of Hosea deals primarily with the issue of idol worship and consequences of unfaithfulness and ungratefulness to God in times of relative safety and prosperity. The other books speak of the Day of the Last judgment, where every action of mankind shall be outweighed, and God’s judgment shall either welcome his soul in the eternal pleasures of heaven or purge him to the eternal tortures of Hell. They also contain messages from Prophets on how to celebrate religious festivals, proper code of conduct towards neighbors, and the ways to live a pure Christian life.

The last three minor prophets are focused on Jewish exiles who have returned from Babylon to rebuild the tabernacle and reestablish Jerusalem

The above statement is False

According to Jewish Tradition, the last three prophets were Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. This is described in the Talmud and they lived at the end of the Babylonian Exile period. However, not all of them were involved in re-establishing Jerusalem.

It was only Haggai who had prophesied and was actually involved in the building of the second temple of Jerusalem.

Was Shays rebellion insurrection? Why or why not?
Mashcka [7]

Answer: Yes it was

Explanation:

An insurrection refers to an uprising against the government of a place usually by violent means and with those involved being armed.

Shay's rebellion saw people attack government establishments and properties in Massachusetts and then they attempted to attack a Federal government arms depot so they could take the weapons and continue the rebellion.

This fits the definition of an insurrection as the people were both armed and had risen up against the government.

15. What are two factors that probably helped isolate Russia from Western Europe? (1 point)
guapka [62]

The correct answer is - The Cyrillic alphabet and Olga's selection of the Byzantine Church.

The Russians saw themselves as Slavic people, so when Kliment and Naum from Ohrid in Macedonia reformed the Glagolic alphabet and turned it to the Cyrillic, and it started to spread around among the Slavic people, it came natural for the Russians to accept it and use it, thus separating them from the countries that were using the Latin alphabet.

Also, Olga's decision to accept the Byzantine Church, instead of the Roman Church, had huge impact on the relations of the Russians with the western part of the continent, thus making them move away from their ideals and perceptions.
