5.28519s  assuming acceleration of gravity is 9.8m/s. When I doubled the length of the pendulum I used 70 since the original was 35.15234.

What is the answer please help me!
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

The greatest force of gravity on the ball will occur at the point when the ball is near to hit the ground

Explanation:

We know that the earth's center attracts everything towards its center with an acceleration of 9.8 m/s² so it simply means that the change in velocity must occur to produce acceleration. When the ball comes towards the earth, its speed  continuously increases and it is at maximum level when it is about to hit the ground so this is the point where gravitational force is maximum.

I hope this helps ^_^

What happens if you cut a bar magnet in half between the north and south poles?
Valentin [98]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

A magnet is basically a bundle of tiny magnets,magnetic domains. Each one has a tiny north and south pole. If you cut one in half, the newly cut faces will become the new north or south poles of the smaller pieces.

Two carts on an air track have the same mass and speed and are traveling toward each other. If they collide and stick together,
lora16 [44]

Answer:

p = 0, K_{A} = m\cdot v^{2} (before collision), K_{B} = 0 (after collision).

Explanation:

The total momentum is obtained using the Principle of Momentum Conservation:

m\cdot v_{A} - m \cdot v_{A} = 2\cdot v_{B}

It is trivial to find that final speed and total momentum of the system are zero:

p = 0

The total kinetic energy of the system becomes zero due to the inellastic collision and the same masses and speeds. Total kinetic energies before and after collision are, respectively:

K_{A} = m\cdot v^{2}

K_{B} = 0

What is the acceleration of a Porsche that can go from 15 mi/hr to 75 mi/hr in 4 seconds?
Elodia [21]

Hi there!

Acceleration = change in velocity / change in time = Δv/Δt

Thus:

a = (75 - 15)/4 = 60/4 = 15 mi/hr²
