Another Reason I think he is responsible is that if his messenger got there in time Romeo would have known about the plan. But instead his messenger got caught up in a plague and disease. So he couldn't make it in time to tell Romeo of the plan. My last reason why I think Friar Lawrence is responsible because if he was there at the tomb in time he could have stopped Romeo from killing himself. And he shouldn't have left the tomb so Juliet could have the chance to kill herself.
