Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

According to the WHO, malnutrition is largely responsible for 35% of deaths among children under five in the world.

Explanation:

Food security exists when people have access to enough food to fulfill their needs, they have the money to buy it and they can choose them according to their preferences. When something here does not work, people experience food insecurity. There are many reasons for it, as the question mentions: was, environmental conditions, poverty, economy issues, among many others. In this scenario, malnutrition is one of the outputs. Malnutrition is not only responsible for deaths among children under five, it is also responsible for social and economic impacts.
