An airline company claims in a recent advertisement that more than 94% of passenger luggage that is lost is recovered and reunit

ed with the customer within 1 day. Hunter is a graduate student studying statistics. For a research project, Hunter wants to find out whether there is convincing evidence in support of the airline company's claim. He randomly selects 315 passengers of the airline whose luggage was lost by the airline and found that 276 of those passengers were reunited with their luggage within 1 day. Are all of the conditions for this hypothesis test met, and if so, what are the null and alternative hypotheses for this hypothesis test?

Answer:

The null hypothesis is  H_o :  p  \le  0.94

The alternative hypothesis is   H_a :  p  >  0.94

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

  The sample size is n =  315

   The population proportion is  p =  0.94

   The number of luggage that was recovered and reunited with the passenger in one day is  k =  276

   Generally the sample proportion is  mathematically represented as

       \r p = \frac{k}{n}

=>      \r p = \frac{276}{315}

=>      \r p = 0.876

The null hypothesis is  H_o :  p  \le  0.94

The alternative hypothesis is   H_a :  p  >  0.94

Sandy bought a soft drink for 2 dollars and 5 candy bars. She spent a total of $12. How much did each candy bar cost?
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

If Sandy bought a soft drink for 2 dollars that's 2 dollars subtracted from the total of $12.00 spent

If we have 10 dollars and bought 5 candy bars we would divide so 10 divided by 5 = 2 so each candy bar costed $2 dollars

How do I find the range of a function (no links)
Anna11 [10]
D is your answer because the bar is 4 and you must have an equal amount of plates on each side so it cannot be B. It goes up by 40 because of 2 plates on each side of the bar

To find q + 3, you need to answer this first:

What is 5-3?

5-3=2.

q would be equal to 2.

so now we have something like this:

1

A right triangle has side length that are consecutive integers of 12 feet what are the angles of the triangles
xxTIMURxx [149]
Your intention with the wording "consecutive integers of 12 feet" is not clear. Shown are triangles with sides 12 and 13 (a nice Pythagorean triple) as well as 11 and 12.
