Answer:

The correct answer is thrombocytosis.

Explanation:

Thrombocytosis refers to an elevation in the concentration of thrombocytes in the blood. Thrombocytosis also termed as hyperthrombocytosis is the condition in which the platelet count becomes more than 450 Giga per liter. Thus, it is a disorder in which the body generates too many platelets.

The condition is differentiated further into two types, that is, reactive thrombocytosis and essential thrombocythemia. The reactive thrombocytosis can be a result of an underlying medical condition like infections, cancer, removal of the spleen, acute bleeding and blood loss, or some kind of inflammatory disorders.

The cause of essential thrombocythemia is not clear, however, it seems to be associated with certain mutations.

Which type of bond is found in many carbon-to-carbon bonds in canola oil, but very few carbon-to-carbon bonds in butter?
Novosadov [1.4K]
C=C, the double carbon bond creates a kink in the chain of carbons, and prevents the fats from stacking neatly and forming a solid. The double carbon bonds present in canola oil are why it is a liquid at room temperature, while the lack of such bonds in butter allows for the molecules to lay flat on one another, making butter a solid.
