Hello,

A cone:
a radius (r)...1 in.
a diameter... 2 in.
a height (h) ... 9 in.
....3.14

cone volume formula:
v=1/3*3.14*1^2*9=1/3*3.14*1*9
c=9.42 cubic inches

$2...1 cubic inch
$x = ?... 9.42
x=$18.84

the correct result $18.84.

Which equation can be used to solve for xxx in the following diagram?
aleksklad [387]

The equation that can be used to determine the value of x is Option B.

What is an Equation ?

An equation is a mathematical statement formed when two algebraic expression are equated by an equal sign.

From the diagram ,

A straight line has an angle of 180 degree.

Therefore from the figure

To determine the value of x

2x + 4x = 180

6x = 180

x =30 degree

Thus the equation that can be used to determine the value of x is Option B.

Using the volume of a cylinder formula. Calculate the volume of the cylinder. *
Romashka [77]

Answer:

The first answer choice: 15 cm x 3.14 cm x 2cm^2 = 188.4 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula:

V=πr^2h

radius=2

height=15

V=π(2)^2*15

π(4)*15

4*15=60

60π

π=3.14

60(3.14)

188.4

Since its volume you have to cube it

188.4 cm^3

7 divided by blank equals 56
djverab [1.8K]
7 ÷ 1/8 = 56
1/8 = 0.125.

When you are dividing fractions, to work them out you flip the fraction (or second fraction if there is 2) and change the sign. In this case, that would be 7 x 8/1.

7 x 8 = 56
56 / 1 = 56
