5 cent = 0.05x

4 cent = 0.04(2x-10)

 

0.05x + 0.02(x+50) + 0.04(2x-10)

0.05x + 0.02x +1 + 0.08x -0.4 = 4.35

0.15x +0.6 = 4.35

0.15x = 3.75

X = 3.75 / 0.15 = 25

25+50 = 75 2 cent stamps ( 75*0.02 = 1.50)
