Read the passage below from an essay on “The Theme of Transformation in The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle” and answer the

question.
Charlotte’s transformation is marked by her realization of Jaggery’s true nature. As Charlotte herself says, “It was I—despite clear warnings—who had refused to see Captain Jaggery as the villainous man he was…” This realization is the first step in Charlotte’s transformation from someone who can’t see past appearances, to someone who can.
In terms of a literary analysis essay, why is this last sentence important?

No I would say that neither are good but Jones at least didn't use whips or stuff like that. Napoleon tried stealing ideas from other people and killed lots of animals.

At first, Odysseus and his men refrain from eating the cattle because they all swore an oath not to eat any cattle. The situation changed when they were on the island because they were starving and trapped there for a month. Don't forget that it was Eurylochus who convinced the men to eat the Cattle of the Sun: "it's better to die at sea from the wrath of the gods, he said than to die of hunger."
