Answer:

<h2>A. Domain.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

An xy-plane is formed by two variables, an independent variable, which is x, and a dependent variable, which is y.

The set that defines the independent variable values for the relation, it's called Domain.

The set that defines the dependent variable values is called Range.

Therefore, in this case, the right asnwer is A. Domain, becase the set of all x-values is actually the Domain set of the relation.

a father and his son clean the house together in 2 hours. when the son works alone, it takes him an hour longer to clean than it
Marizza181 [45]
It takes the son one and half hours to clean the house. To find this you need the equations F+S=2 and F+1=S. (F=father and S=son) You take the F+1 and substitute it in for S in F+S to get F+(F+1)=2. Then you combined like factors, 2F+1=2, and simplify to get F=.5hr. After this you plug .5 in to F+1=S to get (.5)+1=S, meaning it takes the son 1.5 hour to clean the house.

Eliminate the parameter. x = t2 + 2, y = t2 - 4
stepan [7]
\bf \begin{cases}&#10;x=t^2+2\implies x-2=t^2\implies \sqrt{x-2}=\boxed{t}\\\\&#10;y=t^2-4\\&#10;----------\\&#10;y=\left( \boxed{\sqrt{x-2}} \right)^2-4\implies y=x-2-4\\\\&#10;y=x-6&#10;\end{cases}

just a plain vanilla substitution

I would go with C because if you do A then its all new students and thats one view D is the same. C seems like the best choice.

What ks the % of 4 = 2
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

50\%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the percentage then...

x\%(4)=2

Start by dividing both sides by 4:

x\%=\frac{2}{4}

Simplify the fraction:

x\%=\frac{1}{2}

Then, multiply the fraction by 50/50, so we can get a number over 100 (that number would be the percentage). Note we can only multiply it by 50/50 since it is essentially multiplying the fraction by 1.

x\%=\frac{1}{2}*\frac{50}{50}\\x\%=\frac{50}{100}\\x=50\%
