To find the answer,we can first calculate how much her sister took away by multiplying the original amount he has to the amount her sister took.

Her sister has:
7/12×2/5
=7/30

We can then find the amount of pizza left by deducting the pizza he has to the answer we found above:

7/12-7/30
=35/60- 14/60
=21/60
=7/20

Therefore he has 7/20 of a pizza left.

An alternative way to find the answer:
7/12×(1-2/5)
=7/12×3/5
=7/20

Hope it helps!

Let f be a twice-differentiable function for all real numbers x. Which of the following additional properties guarantees that f
Mkey [24]

Answer:

(C) f’(c) = 0 and f”(c) > 0

Step-by-step explanation:

A minimum occurs where the first derivative is 0 (the tangent line is horizontal), and the second derivative is positive (concave up). The simplest example of this is a positive parabola, like y = x², which has a relative minimum at its vertex.

If line A contains Q(5,1) and is parallel to line MN with M(-2,4) and N(2,1), which ordered pair would be on the perpendicular t
vivado [14]
Your question does not say what were your options, therefore I will answer generically: in order to understand if a point (ordered pair) is contained in a line, you need to substitute the x-component of the pair in the equation of the line and see if the calculations give you the y-component of the pair.

Example:
Your line is y = 4/3x + 1/3
Let's see if (0, 0) and (2, 3) belong to this line

y = 4/3·0 + 1/3 = 1/3 ≠ 0
Therefore, the line does not contain (0, 0)

y = 4/3·2 + 1/3 = 9/3 = 3
Therefore, the line contains (2, 3)
