Compare and contrast the organization, leadership, membership (especially the role of women) and programs of the Knights of Labo
MissTica

Answer:

The answers are:

Everyone working was allowed to join the Knights of Labor, with some exemptions like: lawyers, bankers, liquor dealers, and professional gamblers. Five years later the name changed  to the American Federation of Labor, where women were accepted. The Knights and AFL both sought to raise women's pay, and make them equal to men.

The first effective labour organization was the Knights of Labor, but after the Haymarket Riot they were not able to recover the people's trust. In 1886  the American Federation of Labor was organized  its objectives were those of immediate concern to its members: hours, wages, working conditions, and the recognition of the union.

The Knights of Labor sought to enlist in their ranks not only all labourers but everyone who could be truly classified as a producer.
