Isolate the a. Note the equal sign. What you do to one side, you do to the other.

Add 5 to both sides

-5 (+5) + 1/5a = 4 (+5)

1/5a = 9

Isolate the a. Multiply 5 to both sides

(5)(1/5)a = 9(5)

a = 9 x 5

a = 45

45 is your answer for a.

hope this helps

PUT THESE NUMBERS IN ORDER GREATEST TO LEAST ✔✔ I WILL ADD BRAINLIST
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

2 12/16, 2 18/25, and lastly 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 2 is least, we can put that at the end. That leaves us with 2 18/25 and 2 12/16. Since 12/16 is greater, we will put that as the greatest. 2 18/25 is in the middle. Hope this helps!

1. Consider the rational numbers 4/13 and 3/10.
Murljashka [212]

A)4/13 would be the larger number since if you were to try to add them, 4/13 = 40/130 and 3/10 = 39/130, 40/130 > 39/130

B) A rational number between them would be 39.5/130.

As the sine rule states,

A/sina = B/sinb = C/sinc .

in the diagram, there are two identified sides and if you use the sine rule, you can find the opposed angles easily.

there are:

side a, with angle â .
side b, with angle b.

so the answer is C.

if you input these into the sine rule, it would be:

a/ sin a = b/sin b

What is the zero of the linear function graphed below?
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

All lines, with a value for the slope, will have one zero.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the zero of a linear function, simply find the point where the line crosses the x-axis. Zeros of linear functions: The blue line, y=12x+2 y = 1 2 x + 2 , has a zero at (−4,0) ; the red line, y=−x+5 y = − x + 5 , has a zero at (5,0) .
