If the PQRS in the picture is a parallelogram, that mean R + Q =180 because it was adjacent angles. Then you will get an equation like this:

R + Q =180
(6x-10) + (x+15)= 180
7x +5= 180
7x= 175
x= 25

The angle of P would be same as R and angle of S would be same as Q. Then the answer should be:
R= P = (6x-10)= 6*25 -10= 140
S= Q = (x+15) 25+15= 40

A car rental company offers two plans for renting a car: Plan A: 30 dollars per day and 13 cents per mile Plan B: 50 dollars per
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer: In order to save money for a 1 day rental with plan B, the number of miles must be greater than 153.84 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the number of miles driven with either plan A or B.

Plan A: 30 dollars per day and 13 cents per mile. It means that the cost of renting the car or one day and driving x miles is

30 + 0.13x

Plan B: 50 dollars per day with free unlimited mileage. It means that the cost of renting the car or one day and driving x miles is 50

In order to save money for a 1 day rental with plan B, the number of miles would be

50 < 30 + 0.13x

50 - 30 < 0.13x

20 < 0.13x

0.13x > 20

x > 20/0.13

x > 153.84 miles
