Answer:

Treat the numbers separately and powers separately.

Multiply the two results at the end.

Example:

(2×10⁵) ÷ (4×10²)

(2 ÷ 4) × (10⁵ ÷ 10²)

0.5 × 10³

5.0 × 10²
