The part of the question that says " x 10⁶ " means

" move the decimal point 6 places that way ===> ".

So take the 1.986 and do that to it.
If there aren't enough places to move the decimal point far enough,
add some zeros to the 1.986 before you move the point.

When sound waves interfere to create standing waves, the points on the medium that move up and down with the largest amplitudes
malfutka [58]
The correct answer is: Anti-nodes.

Explanation:

When the interference between the two waves is constructive and the points on the wave that undergo the maximum displacement during each vibrational cycle of the standing wave back and forth. Those points are called anti-nodes. Hence, in the case of sound waves, interference creates standing waves, and the points on the medium that move up and down with the highest amplitudes are called anti-nodes.

An electric bulb has power 500 watt. what does it means
melomori [17]

Answer:

The bulb consumes electrical energy at the rate of 500 Watts

1 Watt = 1 Joule/sec where the joule is the unit of energy

Electric energy is often expressed in kw-hrs

This means that 1 kilowatt of power is used for 1 hour

1 kw-hr = 1000 joules/sec * 3600 sec = 3.6E6 joules of energy
