Here is an example. I'm not really sure what you want me to answer, so I hope this is enough!!!

There are 14 numbers on the pH scale. The lower the number, the more acidic it is on the scale. The higher the number, the more alkaline it is on the scale. The middle numbers are more neutral.

Thanks for the opportunity to answer your question, and I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more information! :)

g A boat is anchored 2000 ft from shore anddirects its searchlight towards an automobile travelingdown the straight road. At the
Darya [45]

Answer:

Explanation:

The distance of searchlight will act as radius R and velocity of car may be supposed to be tangential velocity v  . We are required to calculate  angular velocity ω .

v = 80 ft /s

R = 3000 ft

ω = v / R

= 80  / 3000 = .027 rad / s

For angular acceleration the formula is

angular acceleration α = a / R

a is linear acceleration = 15 ft / s²

α = 15 / 3000 = .005 rad / s².

A roller coaster has a mass of 300 kg. It drops from rest at the top of a hill
Sedaia [141]

To determine the velocity of the roller coaster as it moves down, we use the kinematic equation which is expressed as 2gy = vf^2 - v0^2 where g is the gravitational acceleration, y is the elevation of the roller coaster, vf and vo are the final and initial velocity. We calculate as follows:

2gy = vf^2 - v0^2

Since it starts at rest, v0 is zero.

2gy = vf^2

vf = √2gy

vf = √2(9.8)(101)

vf = 44.5 m/s

Hermann von Helmholtz said that one hears different pitches because different sound waves trigger activity at different places a
nevsk [136]

Answer:

Place theory.

Explanation:

Place theory explains the different perception of sounds on the basis of the different sound waves. This theory helps to explain how the individual can differentiate different pitch sounds.

The different sound frequency causes vibration at the basilar membrane of the cochlea. The different areas of cochlear membrane gets activated by the different frequency of sound. These different vibration enable to distinguish between high pitch and low pitch sounds.

Thus, the answer is place theory.
