101 = n + 3(n - 15)

Explanation:

101=x+3(x−15)

101=x+(3)(x)+(3)(−15)

101=x+3x+−45

101=(x+3x)+(−45)

101=4x+−45

101=4x−45

4x−45=101

4x−45+45=101+45

4x=146

4x /4 =  146 /4

x=73/2

=36.5
