I haven't read the article since it isn't here, but I do know that some bacteria in uncooked meat can be harmful to humans, but I'm not sure if dogs are affected as much, but I'm pretty sure there has to be some bacteria in raw meat that could cause digestive issues for your dog, especially if it is a smaller dog.
