With the rise of the Abbasids dynasty, its influence in the Muslim empire of the Caliphate expanded to other nations, concentrating on supporting the community of Muslim believers, even though they were not of Arab nationality. Much of the support for the Abbasids dynasty, coming from the Persians, had as a logical consequence that the Abbasids were responsible for many of the traditions of the Sāsānian government (who were Persians). Being supported by tolerant Muslims, it also allowed the Abbasids to recognize before the public opinion the Embryonic Islamic Law, and to base their dynasty on the religion of Islam.

Most foodstuffs contain natural, radioactive isotopes.
a. true
b. false
Maurinko [17]

Most foodstuffs contain natural, radioactive isotopes : TRUE.

 • Radioactivity is, and always has been, present in all foodstuffs to some extent. Recent events have made the general public aware of this and most do not know about radioactivity and radiation.

There are four possible sources of radioactivity in foodstuffs: one natural and three artificial.

 1. Natural Radioactivity
 2. Industrial Radioactivity
 3. Weapons Testing
 4. 4. Accidents Involving Radioactivity:

Airborne radioactivity mainly consists of nuclides attached to dust particles which settle directly onto the ground or can be washed out by rain. Some radionuclides are gases and these are mainly washed out by rain.

Thus, both vegetation and soil can be contaminated, so radioactive elements remain their in foodstuffs.
