Choose the constant term that completes the perfect square trinomial.<br><br> y2 + y
horrorfan [7]

The constant term is found by taking the coefficient of the singular variable (in this case, y), dividing it by 2, and squaring the result.

For this problem, the coefficient of y is 1. 1 divided by 2 is 1/2. (1/2)^2 = 1/4.

So, the constant term is 1/4.

Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

In Expanded notation it is 6\times 1 + 5\times \frac{1}{100}

In numerals it is 6.05

Step-by-step explanation:

Expanded notation

Expanded notation is a helpful way to rewrite numbers in order to show the place value of each digit.

Normal number  of we have

.........,Hundred, Tens ,Unit

eg. 1.)  514

5  = hundred place

1 = tens place

4= unit place

Now for decimal numbers

tenths,hundredths,thousandths........

eg. 1.) 0.25

0 = unit place

2 = tenths place  \frac{1}{10}

5 = hundredths place \frac{1}{100}

We will have example in numerals and it expanded notation.

1.

6.05 ( six and five hundredths)

Expanded form

6\times 1 + 5\times \frac{1}{100}

Here,

6 is in Unit place

0 is in Tenths place

5 is in Hundredths place
