Iron ring is used in the laboratory together with iron stand and gauze to support containers such as beakers, evaporating dish, flasks, etc. Iron ring should be removed from the iron stand immediately after use in order to prevent the spillage of the chemical substance that was heated on the ring. Removing the iron ring will ensure that the heated chemical was removed from the ring and put in the appropriate corner. Removing the ring will also reduce the probability of getting injured from the heated ring.

The secretion of a signal molecule by a cell into the local environment
Elodia [21]

Answer:

paracrine signaling.

Explanation:

Chemical signaling between cells is one of the most important ways that activities of tissues and  organs are coordinated. The nervous system is the other major coordinating system in animals,  but even here chemical signaling is used between adjacent neurons. The mechanisms involved are  described as either being paracrine, autocrine, intracrine, endocrine, neuroendocrine or  pheromones. Paracrine signals diffuse locally and act on neighboring cells.
