Suggest one reason why cans are not made entirely from tin

Chemistry

Cans aren't entirely made of tin because of rusting. When scratched(which happens quite frequently to cans) the tin is in more danger of rusting. This is why the cans are coated in a layer of tin rather than the whole can is made of it.

What mass of oxygen is contained in a 5.8 g sample of NaHCO3?
White raven [17]
Molar mass of NaHCO3 is 83.9. moles of Na...O3= 5.8/83.9
=0.0691
for every mole of Na..O3 there are 3 O
n(O) = n(NaHCO3) x3
        = 0.207
mass of O is the moles x molar mass (16)
therefore the mass of O is 3.3 grams

Give me the explanation of <br> Chloroplast.
jasenka [17]

Answer:

Chloroplast is an organelle that is usually present in plant cells. Chloroplasts measure between 3-10 micrometers. Chloroplasts are surrounded by the envelope of two phospholipid membranes. They have pigment molecules inside them which are arranged for efficient light absorption from the Sun.

During Photosynthesis, the sunlight breaks the water molecules, and the reaction produces glucose and oxygen gas

Why is ice less dense than liquid water?
podryga [215]
Hey there,

Your question states: Why is ice less dense than liquid water?
There reason why Ice is less dense than liquid is because ice has compact molecules that are tight together and they stay still. But as for water, those molecules are lose and they are more free than ice.

Hope this helps.

What is the independent and dependent variable?
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

The independent and dependent variable for the following are as follows:

a. Temperature and amount of dissolved oxygen

b. pH and SO2 solubility/amount

c. H2SO4 concentration and voltage output/performance of battery

Explanation:

In an experiment;

- Independent variable is the variable that the experimenter manipulates or changes in order to get a measurable response.

- Dependent variable is the variable that the experimenter measures based on its response to changes made to the independent variable.

A). In this experiment, a student is trying to investigate the amount of dissolved oxygen in a local pond in response to changes in temperature. Hence, the independent variable is the TEMPERATURE while the dependent variable is the AMOUNT OF DISSOLVED OXYGEN.

B). In this experiment, a wine producer would like to explore if pH affects the solubility of SO2 in the wine by measuring the amount of SO2 in the wine solution over a range of pH values. Hence, the independent variable is the pH while the dependent variable is the SO2 SOLUBILITY OR AMOUNT.

C). In this experiment, a researcher wishes to determine the optimal H2SO4 concentration for the best performance of the battery, as measured by the voltage output. Hence, the independent variable is the CONCENTRATION OF H2SO4 while the dependent variable is the VOLTAGE OUTPUT or PERFORMANCE of the battery.
