The sum of angles in a triangle = 180°
So, x+13+154=180
x=180-(167)=13°
This triangle has 154° angle, so it is obtuse, two angles are the same, so it is a isosceles triangle.

Triangles equal a total of 180°. Add the angles together equal to 180°.

x= unknown angle

x + 13° + 154°= 180°
x + 167= 180
subtract 167 from both sides
x= 13°

ANSWER: x=13° which means this is an isosceles triangle with two equal angles of 13°.

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

XZ is longer than XY

Step-by-step explanation:

First we can notice all of the answers consist of knowing the lengths, so we must now find the lengths for each segment. To do this, we must use the pythagorean theorem.

(1, -1) and (-5, -5)

-5- -1 = -4

-5-1 = -6

-4^2+-6^2 = c^2

16+36 = c^2

52 = c^2

7.21110255 = c

So, the length of XZ is 7.21110255 units long

(1, -1) and (8, -2)

8-1 = 7

-2--1 = -1

7^2+-1^2 = c^2

49+1 = c^2

50 = c^2

7.07106781 = c

So, the length of XY is 7.07106781 units long.

The fastest a human has ever run is 27 miles per hour. How many miles per minute did the human run
Kay [80]

(27 mi/hr) x (1 hr / 60 min)  =  (27/60) (mi/min)  =  0.45 mile/minute

Using the same kind of calculation, we can see
that the world record times for other distances
correspond to:

200 meters                  23.31 mph
400 meters                   20.72 mph
800 meters                   17.73 mph
1000 meters                 16.95 mph
1500 meters                 16.29 mph
1 mile (1,609 meters)    16.13 mph
2,000 meters                 15.71 mph
10,000 meters               14.18 mph
30,000 meters               12.89 mph
Marathon  (42,195 meters)    13.10 mph

Except for that one figure at the end, for the marathon,
which I can't explain yet and I'll need to investigate further,
it's pretty obvious that a human being, whether running for
his life or for a gold medal, can't keep up the pace indefinitely.
