1/ 2Times 2 times 3 = 1/12
5.3 Times 3 = 15.9
So 1/12 + 15.9 = .083 + 15.9
.083 + 15.9 = 15.983
Is 5.3 being raised to the 3rd power here? If so I need to know so that I can help you.

"T<u>he function is decreasing":</u>

This means the slope of the function will be negative at the given point.  Anywhere the line is going down, from left to right, is decreasing.  This eliminates choices A and C.

<u>"The function is concave down":</u>

This means the curve of the function will be open down (think of an upside down u).  This eliminates choice E.

<u>"f(x)>0":</u>

This is anywhere the curve is above the x axis.  This eliminates choice D.

The answer is Choice B) x=2.

Hope this helps!!

Write the equation of the circle with a center at (- 2, - 8) and a radius of sqrt(10) .
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

(x + 2)^2 + (y + 8)^2 = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

The general equation of a circle with center at (h, k) and radius r

is (x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2.  If the center is at (-2, -8) and the radius is √10, then this equation becomes:

(x + 2)^2 + (y + 8)^2 = 10

May you state whether the two lines are parallel, perpendicular or neither. y = 4x + 6; 16x - 4y = 12
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer: These lines are parallel

Step-by-step explanation: There are two equations. y=4x+6, and the second one equals y=4x-3. Because they have the same slope, they are parallel.
